Hey There!

I’m Nicole Bethune
a writer, artist & traveler.

I have significant experience working in an editorial capacity and freelance as an essayist, copywriter, proofreader, copy editor, and social media strategist.

Additionally, I am a writer and poet, ceramic artist, photographer and illustrator. My creative work is heavily influenced by my travels and explorations, and has been published in a variety of journals and magazines.

CREATIVE WRITING

  • My debut full-length collection of poetry was published by Finishing Line Press in 2022. Individual poems have been published in several literary journals including Novus Literary Arts Journal, The Santa Clara Review, Wild Roof Journal, and others.

EDITORIAL
WORK

  • Writing freelance articles, listicles, and personal essays on a variety of topics including travel, recipes, local events, etc.

  • Reviewing books across all genres (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, photography).

  • Interviewing authors, artists, and musicians and articulating write-ups for blogs, magazines, and local publications.
